Sexual Slavery and Legal Mobilization in Japan

Doctoral student Jaeye Baek presents her working paper, “The Influence of Legal Mobilization on Justice Discourse in Social Movements,” at the October 14 meeting of the Conflict, Violence and Security working group. The paper explores the relationship between legal mobilization and justice discourse in the case of the the South Korean social movement regarding WW2 Japanese Military Sexual Slavery.
